MIHL Welcomes Findlay Force for 2026-2027

Findlay, OH – Tuesday, February 10, 2026 — The Michigan Independence Hockey League (MIHL) proudly announces the addition of the Findlay Force as its newest affiliate, set to compete in the upcoming 2026-2027 season. With this latest expansion, the league will return to having eight teams.   

The Force will play their home games at The Cube located within the Flag City Sports Complex. It’s located at 3430 N Main St in Findlay, OH and is home for all sorts of community events since 1974.  

Here is a statement from Commissioner Scott Brand:  

“We are very excited to welcome the Findlay Force as a new member of the Michigan Independence Hockey League for the 2026–27 season. The addition of this hockey-rich market, combined with the Force’s successful and experienced leadership, brings a strong and competitive organization into our league family.” 

“Findlay has long been a great hockey and sports community, and I am confident the fans will truly enjoy the level of hockey played in the MIHL. The ownership group has a tremendous history of success within the hockey community at the amateur, collegiate, and professional levels. We are honored that the Force organization has joined our league and look forward to their participation in the seasons ahead.”
